WALKING AMONG HISTORY-SCENTED STREETS
Col d’Olen is the mountain pass linking Corno Rosso and Corno del Camoscio together. The place is located among other natural wonders such as the Monte Rosa and the Alpi Pennine mountains, which marks with their peaks the border between Italy and Switzerland. The Col d’Olen is located in the Monte Rosa ski area and, during the summer, it is possible to take long walks among a lush green paradise. Col d’Olen also lies near Alagna Valsesia, where there’s a cableway leading to Punta Indren: what you need to do is getting out of it at the first stop and follow the track number five for two hours until you finally reach for the Guglielmina’s refuge. You may prefer to leave from Grassoney, where there’s another cableway leading to the Salati pass: in this case, you’ll have to choose track number six and walk fifteen minutes to get to the Guglielmina’s chalet.
